It didn't hit me that 2015 was over, well until it happened. And we were onto 2016! I hope you had a fabulous start to the new year. I attended a fun New Years Eve party "The White Ball" in Vancouver, Washington. I found this dress already in my closet. I wore it for an event in college, we're talking way back in 2003. There aren't many things I still have around that old, but in this case it proved quite helpful. And it even still fit. (Now you know I'm not very good at doing that thing where you frequently clean out your closet.) The black jacket is a more recent clearance rack find from Lane Bryant. It definitely made the outfit. Plus, I had a reason to wear my Charles Albert statement necklace. The necklace was my major souvenir purchase from my trip to Alaska last summer. I tried to do a "sexy new year's eve" waves hair tutorial, but my hair ended up pretty flat. You are supposed to curl your hair in opposite directions and then spray it with a texturing spray. I used Suave's Sea Salt Texturizing Spray. I think I needed some hair spray. The texturizing spray seemed to deflate my curl. Oh well, I've always been more of a makeup girl than a hair girl.
